Pergolas come in any shape; this one is a quarter circle constructed with strong, lightweight cedar. The 6x6 posts support double 2x10 beams which carry 2x6 joists (with decorative end cuts) on top of which 2x2 slats are attached. A 2x8 ledger attaches the structure to the house. Sway bracing with decorative cuts and 1x4 slat fascia finish the look.
