Turning Your Back Yard into a Dream!!!

This Cedar Patio transforms the back of this house into a whole other room to enjoy the fresh air and escape from the Daily Grind!

As you can see in the pictures below Dave and Jordan from Hands On Deck Builder put a lot of thought and effort into making this patio the perfect way to spend time in the backyard. In the top right photo you can see the modern privacy screen that gives you a chance to unwind without your neighbors peeking in at you.  Furthermore in the other photos you can see how they incorporated the modern style into the Handrail with straight lines and 90 degree corners. Not only did they give this customer a cedar cover with exposed beams and rafters to get away from the sun, they also put a small corner arbor in to enjoy the rays while reading a book or watching the kiddos play in the yard. I’d also like to point out in bottom left picture that Dave and Jordan took the time to run the gutter completely under the deck and out the front to prevent the water from camping out under the deck which would cause pre-mature rotting of not only the frame but the decking as well.

Hands On Deck Builder and their customer chose to use Western Red Cedar as their  material for this project which is known for its stability, rot and bug resistance, and long lasting beauty. Whether you want your project to turn a silvery gray or would prefer using a translucent stain, cedar is the right choice!
